I'm 17 and I'm planning to have a Brazilian Wax in the next two weeks or so. Same reason as well, for hygiene~
But, I have a small stature making me look like 15.. so even if I am 17, I doubt they'd let me in. The brutal killings of the Vizconde women stunned the nation and started a serious quest for justice.

Thinking about it, the DOJ and the NBI once again failed to answer the 20-year old question: Who killed the Vizcondes?

My beef on this is that for as long as the case remains unsolved and notwithstanding the fact that the NBI, RTC and CA yielded questionable findings and decisions, will there ever be true justice for the Vizconde women?

And to cap this, here's another quote:

Justice should not be about putting men behind bars just for the sake of naming perpetrators.

Regards,
Joycejoyceinheelshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17443812250395256408noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4918980256802616013.post-32403254461223996712011-06-28T21:00:09.933-07:002011-06-28T21:00:09.933-07:00i hate to see word "womanity" on this bl...i hate to see word "womanity" on this blogEricanoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4918980256802616013.post-47646599228975557502011-04-14T20:03:26.620-07:002011-04-14T20:03:26.620-07:00Hello Joyce!

Never!

I always believed that poverty is not our society's problem; poverty mentality is. No matter how much money you give to the poor (that includes me) most will always go back to poverty. Because lack of money is not the real problem.

People's mindset about money and material things is the real problem: how we respond with too much money, with enough money; or with lack of money. That's the problem—our ability to respond!

Wowowee Show does not help the poor to have a different or a better "money mindset" instead, the show perpetuates the mentality of the poor by offering them instant money—that is, money without work and responsibility. I think the show only helps the poor to remain poor.

The worse part is, they even manipulate people's "emotions" for the sake of "entertainment." Most "cries" in the show are not genuine!

I hope we can develop another show that will really help the poor change their (our) poverty mindset, our paradigms, and educate us "How not to stay being poor." I hope they teach us to fish instead of giving us fish.

Thanks for this post Joyce! You are doing favor!Arnoldnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4918980256802616013.post-89666996107623437702011-04-03T06:35:41.848-07:002011-04-03T06:35:41.848-07:00You're welcome, Ms. J. Having lived in Australia where the discrimination law is in full force, we are appalled by what we witness in these shows. And I agree that the participants are doing these for the hope of winning the prized monies but if TV producers keep encouraging such shows, I am wondering what kind future does our youth have. Surely there are other wholesome entertainment that can give money to the audience.
We are also disgusted of the dancing women gyrating to entertain audience. it is a job for them but really quite demeaning.
For an expatriate like me, I can only give my comment with the hope that I can also be heard.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4918980256802616013.post-18005589940397889802011-02-20T06:52:20.861-08:002011-02-20T06:52:20.861-08:00I'm browsing your blog now. (separation).

I see that's what naturally happens in real life. People forget (including me) or perhaps don't realize that some more important "steps" in the sequence are missing: love and commitment

Infatuation is supposed to be transformed into LOVE, and then followed by another fortifying step—COMMITMENT. And then comes engagement, then marriage. During the married life, both LOVE and COMMITMENT are expected to be visited frequently by the couple.

Because we normally forget those two middle and supposed to be RECURRING STEPS, we end up realizing "that there couldn't be such thing."

…And then we ask ourselves, "What do I do now?"

Thanks for your insight and for this blog, you are helping people realize what causes our pains.

ArnoldAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4918980256802616013.post-42617731382592827872011-01-14T06:06:50.686-08:002011-01-14T06:06:50.686-08:00DNA testing by way of oral swabs is by far the sta...DNA testing by way of oral swabs is by far the standard procedure of sample collection as it's really quick to perform; nevertheless DNA tests, such as paternity testing.

DNA TestsUnknownhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05620226811145116736noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4918980256802616013.post-65316068293205227672010-12-21T05:31:26.779-08:002010-12-21T05:31:26.779-08:00Hi!
